The shape of this vehicle is influenced by the Touran and therefore looks less like a van when compared to some of its rivals. It has a stylish dashboard, although the material is hard plastics, features chrome-ringed dials and an excellent in car radio. The front seats are straight from the Golf and add to the classy feel of the interior, while twin sliding doors and a huge cabin (which is larger again than its rivals) make it extremely practical. As a passenger you sit high, and middle row passengers have lots of head and legroom.

On-road manners are very 'Golf-like' and are the drive quality and experience is very good. It's smooth, well controlle and unlike some van-based MPVs, bumps don't send a noisy shudder through the cabin either. The body rolls through corners and in terms of the steering and handleing it is light and accurate. It may not be particularly exciting, but it's very easy to drive and practical, although the bonet is a little steep with can limit visibility for parking.
